Schechter Science Fair

It was amazing attending the Schechter science fair. With the field surrounded by hords of children interested in robotics, we could barely get to the field to reset the crates and balls. Our robots – the PickleJarHeads, Two Bits and a Bite and the Pluralists, were the center of attention at the science fair. We ran through at least ten scrimmages with Two Bits and a Bite lifting crates each time and the PickleJarHeads dropping three to four magnet balls in the side pipe. Our robot, Gal, is still limping from its past competition at Pace University. We were able to lift a few crates, and working with Two Bits and a Bite we got a pretty good amount of points. The children at the science fair were amazed by the two scissor lifts. We also invited a local Needham FLL team to show their robot to the middle schoolers. We hope to start a few FLL teams in the local schools that attended the science fair. Check out pictures here.
We would like to thank Two Bits and a Bite, the PickleJarHeads and the Pluralists for attended the event along with Team List from Needham. We would also like to thank Schechter for promoting science and technology within our local community. Keep on inspiring FIRST teams!
